How To Add Panels On Twitch 2021
Welcome back gamers,
If you've paid attention to our website this month we've added over a dozen new Twitch panels to our store with the help of our new designers. With plenty more to come, we want to make sure everyone that purchases panels from our website knows how to add them to your Twitch profile underneath your live stream.
In this article, we will quickly show you how to add panels to your Twitch profile from a desktop or laptop, what they can be used for, and how to turn your panels into links or buttons.
Get Yourself Some Panels First
Before you can add custom panels to your Twitch channel, first you need to have custom panels. If you don't already have a set of twitch panels for your stream, check out our store . We have dozens of custom made Twitch panel packs for you to look through and you can even contact us to have a pack custom made for you.
Adding Your Panels To Twitch
The first step to adding your new panels to your Twitch channel is to click on the "chat button" on the homepage of your Twitch channel.
If you're not currently streaming, you will see your broadcast message being offline. Once you can see your stream, scroll down until you see a button that says "edit panels." You should see it on the left side of your screen.
Once you flick the switch, you can now begin to edit and add panels to your Twitch channel.
The next step is to add a panel. You can do this by clicking on the big plus sign that appeared and selecting "Add a text or Image Panel."
The box will then change and give you options for a panel title, image, image links, and a description. While most people would think to give their panel a name, with our custom Twitch panels, you don't need to. Giving your panels a name will make bold text appear on top of the image and in most cases, it would say the same thing as the actual image panel. This is why we recommend leaving the panel title blank.
Next, click on "add image" and upload the panel you want to showcase on your Twitch channel. The image that you upload will appear there when you save your panel edits. Just remember you can only upload 1 image per panel.
Linking Your Panel
Now that you have a new panel uploaded to Twitch, you might want to link it. The most common linked panel buttons are donations, sponsors, and merchandise. Below the "add image" button you will see "Image links to" and an empty bar. Whenever anyone clicks on that panel, they will open a new tab in their browser that goes to the URL you put in that spot. Here's ours.
Adding A Panel Description
Sometimes you will want to put more details under your panel, if you wanted to show off your streaming equipment or write a detailed "about me" section the description is where you'd put it. Anything you write into the panel description will appear underneath the image. It's good to remember the title on top, and description on the bottom when it comes to adding text to your Twitch panels.
Once you are happy with the content of your panel, click "submit" and then scroll back up and toggle off the "edit panels" button.
You're all set! We can't wait to see your live stream. Let us know in the comments if this was your first time adding panels to your Twitch channel. Feel free to look around our store for custom-designed Twitch panels, overlays, and more to help you improve your stream.
